Family Camp-Out Gathering
September 28/29/30, 2007

On the property of our hosts there is a wonderful camping area that includes a campfire and gathering place. Each Fall we focus on this area and have our "strictly outdoor" weekend.

The weather, unlike last year, was perfect on the Saturday, allowing us to focus on bow making, throwing sticks, great cooking and lots of exploration. One group disappeared for a while to check out the Tannery and Bead Store in the area.

Our annual planning meeting was very productive, and, as you can see elsewhere on this site (Events Schedule), we have a busy and adventurous year planned. Join us!

Here are a bunch of photos from the weekend.
There are 20 photos, so please be patient while they load.

Many skills were practiced.

A little shopping at the local Tannery.

Can you imagine doing all of these by hand.
