Summer Herb Walk,
Sweat Lodge Rebuild and
Various Crafts and Projects

Our main topic, the Summer Herb Walk, was cut short by the aggressive natured mosquitos. Instead of taking a relaxed stroll, the pace was very, very fast. It was decided to cut the walk short and take specific samples back to the house where they could be researched bite-free.

The Sweat Lodge rebuild suffered the same difficulty. There has been so much rain that the mosquitos are voracious! We did get some clean-up done and will try again next gathering or in September.

So what did we do? It was truly amazing. Everyone had brought projects to work on and were constantly busy. Have a look at the following pictures that show some of the results. Please be patient while the images load into your browser.

Happy to be together again!

The Herb walk was fairly short due to the mosquitos.
So the group grabbed a few samples and
retreated indoors to study and discuss them.

We were treated to the baking expertise of Autumn Willow.

Oh Boy!! Can't wait to sample that Peach Pie!

Felicia made Moccasins. First she had to make some Lacing.

And... here is the final result!

You know it's a Tracker Weekend when
you are covered in mud and you're having fun!

Marcia worked on a Jumbo Dream Catcher.

Autumn Willow adds her creative love to her Pipe Bowl.

Cesary shares his Pipe Bowl with us.

Kim worked on her Pipe Stem as well as her Pipe Bowl.

Some decided to built a Debris Hut.
They figured they would complete it very quickly because
the mosquitos would keep them motivated!

Cordage was made from grass to help secure the doorway.

Snug as a bug!
