Family Camp-Out Gathering
And Annual Planning Meeting

September 26/27/28, 2008

You, your family and friends are invited to join the Dirt Time Trackers on September 26/27/28, 2007, for a weekend Camp-Out Gathering which will include our Annual Planning Meeting at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. We'll be camping in the wooded campsite area at the Brownes' and using their house for drinking water, refrigeration and washroom use only. All ages are welcome to attend.

If you are unable to stay for the entire weekend, come for a day or a just a few hours to say hello and visit with your Dirt Time Tracker friends. If you only have a few hours available, plan to join us for our Annual Planning Meeting at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Bring along your Calendar so we can plan new Events and Gatherings right through to next summer.

As mentioned, we will gather at the home of Kathy & David Browne which is just south of Erin or 15 minutes north of Georgetown or 25 minutes north from the 401 & Trafalgar Rd. exit. Arrival can be anytime after 6:00 p.m. on Friday evening. Departure will be late Sunday afternoon.

This gathering is definitely more relaxing and social in nature. Since there is no schedule or specific program being followed, it is a perfect opportunity for you to invite a friend or neighbour that you've always wanted to introduce to the DTT group. So, bring along your favourite camp chair, musical instruments and your unfinished crafts or projects that can be worked on while we hang out and enjoy each other's company.

Everyone is asked to come self-contained with their own food, shelter and cooking requirements. The exception is our Saturday Dinner which will be a Pot-Luck. Everyone is asked to bring something for the meal to share with the group. There will be 20-25 people attending the Pot-Luck Supper.

Regarding the cooking of your meals, there is a fire pit for open fire cooking and/or you can bring your favourite camp stove and fuel.

One of our weekend activities will likely be to visit a local Tannery on Saturday morning. If you're interested in purchasing tanned hides or other items from the Tannery, don't forget to bring along some money for your purchases.
